Arriving with your bike

Girona airport is 25 minutes from the city and Barcelona 75: both work for bike trips. A boxed bike needs a van (count it as 2 large cases); bike bags fit a sedan for one traveller. Rental road and gravel bikes in Girona city are excellent if you prefer to travel light — mention it in the request notes and the transfer stops at the shop.

Best months: March-June and September-November. July-August only early mornings.
