How to get there

  • Reus Airport (REU): 20 minutes by transfer (35-55 EUR per vehicle). The fastest option.
  • Barcelona Airport (BCN): 75-90 minutes (95-125 EUR per vehicle).
  • Train: Port Aventura station on the Barcelona - Salou line, a 10 minute walk from the gates.
  • Car: exit 35 off the AP-7; parking costs about 20 EUR/day in season.

The three parks

  • PortAventura Park: five themed areas and the tallest roller coasters in Europe (Shambhala, 76 m).
  • Ferrari Land: the world of motors with Red Force, the most brutal acceleration of the resort.
  • Caribe Aquatic Park: wave pools and slides for the water day.

Tips that save time

  • Buy tickets online: the ticket office is the only queue worse than Shambhala.
  • Express Pass only pays off in July-August and bank holidays; in May or September there are barely any waits.
  • The Mexico fire show closes the day: grab your spot 20 minutes before.
  • With small kids, start at Sesame Aventura early and leave China (the big coasters) for the afternoon.
