Prices and practical tips
- Rental: about 10-15 EUR/hour for a single kayak, 15-20 for a double and 10-15 for a SUP; most centres ask for a deposit.
- Guided tours (Medes, caves): 30-45 EUR per person for 2-3 hours including gear.
- Best time: mornings before 11:00, when the sea is flattest; from June to September the water is warm enough without wetsuit.
- Always check the wind forecast: the north tramuntana closes the water fast on the northern stretches.
Kayak centres are on the promenades of LEstartit, Lloret, Palamos (Castell), Sant Feliu and Roses: a transfer to the beach club avoids carrying paddles on foot.
